Highly regarded by both his peers and fans of Dancehall Music. Dj Rockyboss is undoubtedly reaffirming why he truly is the 'BOSS'. A native East Londoner, Rocky Boss first started Deejaying from his school days at house parties and private functions. Known to many at that time as ' DJ Rocky' and specialising in UK Garage music he soon moved over to the sounds of dancehall music and there he joined forces with Dj Moonlight to form Cold As Ice crew and 'Rockyboss' was born. A reputation for guaranteed 'HYPING' up the dance came quickly and he partnered up with Dj Face to create the now notorious 'Freaky Fridays'. It quickly became London's no 1 weekly Dancehall rave and attracted guests such as Shaggy, Beenie Man, Spragga Benz, Munga and many more international artists.
The hard work didn't go unnoticed and soon he began to tour overseas, his first international booking was 'Dejam 2007' in Antigua where he played alongside the likes of Heartless Crew & Robbo Ranx. A year later he launched his 'Who's the Boss' compilation mixtapes. It is now firmly established as a brand within the industry releasing further compilation albums and holding dances in the UK and abroad. It continues to expand and now has a T-Shirt line for males and females.
He continues to tour and has appeared at several leading venues all other the UK. His international destinations include Barbados, Amsterdam, Paris and Antigua.He also had the great pleasure of playing warm up for the official "UK Cup Clash" at Stratford Rex. The unrelentless drive for success and accelerated work ethic has found him again partnering up with Dj face and others to create 'Britjam' a week long partying holiday held in Jamaica. He currently hosts his own radio show on FlamesRadio.co.uk one of London's leading underground radio station.
